The Department of Quantum Technology in the Faculty of Physics at the University of Münster, Germany, is seeking to fill the permanent position of a
Akademische Rätin/Akademischer Rat (salary level A 13 LBesO)
at the earliest possible date. The prospective candidate is required to teach 9 hours per week during the semester.
Your tasks:
- Development of novel educational formats in the field of experimental quantum technology within the network "EIN Quantum NRW." A focus is placed on the creation of an innovative teaching and learning environment that uses, for example, augmented reality to teach experimental core competencies in quantum technology. Corresponding laboratory courses and practical tutorials are to be developed at the University of Münster and transferred to the partners in the "EIN Quantum NRW" network.
- Active support of research projects focusing on quantum technology, both independently and in collaboration with the working groups of the Department of Quantum Technology.
- Conducting courses, particularly to expand the course offerings in the area of "Nano- and Quantum Technologies."
- Participation in academic self-administration, including advising students.
Our expectations:
- a doctoral degree in physics or a related discipline is required.
- Experience in independently developing and conducting courses in the area of nano- and quantum technologies is expected.
- Extensive experience with nanofabrication and nanoanalytics in cleanroom environments is required.
- Teaching experience in cleanroom environments and good didactic skills are desirable.
- Experience in project management and coordination of projects is an advantage.
- We are looking for a team-oriented person with excellent organizational skills, who works independently and enjoys interacting with different student groups.
